Our ready to wear ranges of synthetic wigs start at £52 - rising to £500 for human hair. We have over 130 different styles and 50 colours to choose from, these wigs are suitable for both fashion and necessity wearers. With such a wide range of wigs available and services we offer to personalise a piece, we like to think we have something for everyone.

We offer a Mail Order service, where you can email or call us with your order. We have our own retail shops across the UK, along with other hairdressing salons that we supply to. Our website is designed as an online catalogue for information to be accessed easily. Trade enquiries are welcome.

We have a custom made range which is exclusive to Trendco. Each piece is designed and styled to the highest standard associated with Trendco. These pieces take approximately 10 - 16 weeks from start to finish. A hard template is taken, and then the wig is individually designed specifically for the wearer, and they are virtually undetectable to both sight and touch.

These are only suitable for people with total or partial hair loss; they are hard wearing and extremely versatile. These pieces are charged at individual prices according to the choice of hair type and hair length.

We do not buy or use hair from individuals wishing to donate or sell their hair. We belong to a global group of companies that have their own factories which produce all of these pieces for us.

Clients that wear wigs due to Alopecia, Chemotherapy treatment, or any other medical condition that causes hair loss and is confirmed by a GP, are classed as necessity wearers. If you fall under this category, you are entitled to receive the VAT cost off your wig at the time of purchase.

VAT exemption is available when you order over the telephone and internet. We will send you a form to complete and once we receive it, we can dispatch your order to you. We cannot send any goods out with this reduction without a completed form. If purchasing from one of our salons, please speak to your stylist.

Often clients that are no longer necessity wearers may prefer to carry on wearing wigs. Many people wear them to achieve the look they want without daily styling. We have a range of hairpieces and wigs that are often worn for special occasions, such as weddings and proms.

We supply regularly to films and television programmes including The Bill, Holby City, Eastenders and Harry Potter. Madame Tussauds order ready to wear pieces from us, as well as custom made wigs for their waxwork displays. Theatre groups and production companies find our wide range of styles and colours are perfect for their needs.

For wash and wear convenience fibre wigs require less time and attention than those made from human hair. Fibre hair is also less prone to colour fade than human hair but cannot in any way be heat treated.

Any heat applied to a fibre wig will result in the hair becoming frizzy and broken as the hair will effectively melt. Heat should be avoided from hair dryers, straighteners and heated rollers or tongs. Care should also be taken when wearing your fibre piece and opening oven doors, using a grill, toaster or any other heated appliance.

Fibre wigs should also be washed in warm and not hot water as hot water will straighten the fibre hair.

At Trendco we recommend that you purchase between two and four fibre wigs every year. The length of time a fibre wig will last depends on the style, the length and how it is cared for. Permed or curled styles will need replacing more frequently than waved or straight styles and may also need re-setting into their original style. Continual wearing of a fibre wig will result in friction frizz at the base, especially around the collar and through the length of the hair. The effects of this can be lessened with the use of our Soft n Sheen product and by alternating between two wigs, if you are a regular wearer.

Human hair needs to be cared for as if it were normal growing hair. The human hair wigs are prone to colour fade and can be re-coloured, should your wig need re-colouring we recommend you always seek professional advice.

Human hair wigs can be styled using heated products such as hairdryers and straighteners. They can be set using conventional curlers and hood dryers or for a temporary curl heated rollers can be used. We advise that you use suitable hair products to protect the hair when you apply heat, we recommend our GHD range, which we have found works the best.

At Trendco we recommend that you purchase two to three human hair wigs every year. The length of time that a human hair wig will last depends on how it is cared for and how often it is worn. When caring for your wig always comb or brush them with the greatest of care, paying particular attention to the skin top and parting areas, especially if the hair is tangled. Longer hair should be brushed from the ends first and when the hair is smoothed out the brush can be taken fully through the hair.
